Seaspan Vancouver Shipyards

Corey Lutes is the Director of Manufacturing at Vancouver Shipyards. As a functional and people leader, he oversees the manufacturing facilities and a team of 300 people responsible for fabricating precision-cut steel parts to fully outfitted components up to 100-tons for incorporating into the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Coast Guard vessels being built at Seaspan. Corey and the Seaspan team are committed to continuously exploring new technologies and processes that will improve safety, quality and production as they continue to deliver ships built by Canadians, for Canada.

Callum has worked in leadership roles for the last 22 years. He is a 3 time BCIT graduate with a Human Resources Diploma, a Business Administration Degree, and a Red Seal Construction Certification. Callum’s diverse background includes, sales, hospitality management, teacher, electrician, foreman, estimator, project manager, workplace trainer, and currently a manager of workforce development at Seaspan Ship Yard in North Vancouver. His experience and career interests align in his current role of program development and execution for front line leadership. His passion is collaborating and leading projects that address organization needs, creates efficiencies, and shares success.
